This is the hilarious story of five women who inherit equal shares in a dilapidated run-down theatre and who plan to bring it back to its former glory.
They try various fund-raising schemes, but their most ambitious idea is to hold a talent extravaganza featuring local talent and a world-famous star who agrees to appear with no fee.
Their plans go awry, and they try, manfully, to rectify matters. A comedy by Peter Quilter.

Belmont Theatre is an established multi-award winning resident theatre company which usually performs three times a year at The Pump House Theatre , Watford, Hertfordshire. The group rehearses in the Carpenders Park Community Hall. Although an amateur company, run entirely by volunteers, we strive for excellence in all theatrical matters and perform a wide variety of productions (classic dramas, comedies and thrillers), which often sell out.
