***CHANGE TO LINE-UP****

Unfortunately, Susan Murray who was originally billed has had to pull out of Saturday's Watford Comedy Night. But we're delighted to welcome RUDI LICKWOOD in her place. Rudi is a performer with a remarkable track record providing over 25yrs of hilarity entertaining in a variety of settings and at some of the most prestigious venues around the world. One of the first black comedians on BBC The Stand Up Show he is fresh, original, contemporary and amusing. Able to tailor his performance to suit any audience or occasion he specialises in Corporate Hospitality and Events, Sporting Functions, Product Launches, Award Ceremonies, Charity Fundraisers ensuring that every event is both a memorable experience and a success. Working closely with the Combined Forces Entertainment (CSE), Rudi has toured in Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia, keeping the troops entertained all over the world. A charming character, Rudi is loved wherever he performs. Rudi has also presented awards and performed at high-profile events for companies such as American Express, British Telecom Heinz, Diageo and Coca-Cola.

The rest of the line-up remains the same with:

JULIAN DEANE: Widely celebrated for his ingenious punchlines, Julian Deane is an award-winning British stand up comedian and writer. Within a few years of starting stand-up comedy, he was named Best New Comedian by the Comedy Café in London and won the ITV Stand Up Hero and the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competitions. Julian has appeared on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One) and supported Paul Chowdhry on a world tour, which included Wembley Arena. He is also an in-demand writer, with his credits including Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Matt Forde’s Unspun (Dave) and Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia (Sky Atlantic).

DAVID EAGLE: David is one of the funniest, fastest rising acts on the comedy circuit with an array of competition wins and some quality comedy club performances already under his belt. With David being blind, his comedy often explores how his disability means the most ordinary, commonplace events are turned into surreal and convoluted dramas. Occasionally he dons his accordion (often as a spiteful repost to hecklers) and performs one of his comedy songs, such as his George Formby parody, described by the Guardian as “a comic tour de force.” He was crowned New Comedian Of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre in 2019, a year which also saw him win new act competitions at Bath Comedy Festival and Nottingham Comedy Festival, and has been nominated Best Newcomer at the Chortle Awards. David now graces many a stage on the professional comedy circuit and is tipped for the top.

ADAM BLOOM: Adam Bloom is a winner of the Time Out Comedy Award and one of Britain’s most exciting and original stand up comedians. He has performed seven sold out solo runs at the Edinburgh Festival and a 29-date, sell-out tour of the UK. Adam performed a sold out solo run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, breaking box office records for anyone’s first ever visit to the festival. He has had three series on BBC Radio 4, entitled The Problem with Adam Bloom, and his TV credits include: Mock the Week (BBC Two), The Stand Up Show (BBC One), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three).
