As heard on BBC Radio 2 and 4Xtra, Philip is one of the most sought after comperes and acts working on the UK comedy circuit today. He has most recently been gigging throughout the UK, as well as a few appearances in New York, Scandinavia, the Middle East and Auckland where he headlined at The Classic.
DAN EVANS
Dan first appeared on the comedy circuit in 1994, shortly afterwards leaving a promising career as one of East Anglia’s leading office menials to go full time. As well as playing clubs and universities throughout the UK, Dan has gigged in Holland, Germany, Dubai and Ireland as well as being part of the sell-out Screaming Blue Murder Cabaret and Avalon Comedy Zones at the Edinburgh Fringe. Dan’s TV and radio appearances include Brain Candy (BBC3 & 2), and the Radio 2 Stand Up Show. He writes too, with many credits including The Very World of Milton Jones (R4 – Sony Award Winner) and Rory Bremner Who Else? (CH 4).
ABI CARTER-SIMPSON
AS SEEN ON BRITAINS GOT TALENT: Abi’s performing career spans over a decade. From comedian to singer, actress to presenter. In her early twenties, Abi appeared in many off West-End productions and finally made her West End Debut in 2016 in a production which also took her on a Number 1 tour of the UK. Her next venture was where Abi’s passion for comedy writing and performing began - ‘Newsrevue’ – the world’s longest running comedy shows which has an alumnus of the likes of Sarah Pasco, Alistair McGowan and Bill Bailey. Abi has appeared on BBC1, ITV2 and SKY 1, where she played Cassandra Laggatt-Brown in Agatha Raisin & The Deadly Dance – appearing alongside Ashley Jensen, Matt Horne and Adam Garcia.
ALISTAIR BARRIE
Alistair Barrie is one of the most in demand headliners on the international stand-up comedy circuit. He has performed in over fifty countries around the world and at international comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Melbourne, Cape Town and New Zealand. He's a regular team member of The Comedy Store’s weekly topical show, The Cutting Edge, and a frequent panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Broadcasting House and BBC Radio 5’s Question Time Extra Time.
