Independence Productions explores the darker side of Seuss, and delves into themes present in the original stories such as societal prejudice, toxic masculinity, and loneliness. However, Seussical is ultimately a celebration of friendship, imagination, and the power of community, a show fit for all ages!

Independence Productions is an Amateur Musical Theatre Company.
Independence Productions was officially founded in 2020 with their first show "The Trail to Oregon!". Created by a group of students with a passion for musical theatre, they have performed "Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier" (2021), "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical" (2022) and "Little Shop of Horrors" (2023) at Pump House Theatre, and are looking forward to performing their 5th show "Seussical" at Pump House this year.
